About the Award

The STA Travel Award provides financial assistance to help promising members attend and actively engage in the STA Annual Meeting and broader society activities.

  • Two-Year Award: $1,000 (Year 1) | $500 (Year 2)
  • Purpose: Offset travel costs for participation in the STA Annual Meeting
  • Expectations: Recipients will join an STA committee and attend Board of Directors (BoD) meetings during their award term
Eligibility
  • Open to trainees and early career faculty interested in becoming active members of STA
  • Applicants should demonstrate enthusiasm for technology in anesthesia, a desire to contribute to STA initiatives, and potential for future leadership within the Society

Presentation: Recipients will be recognized on stage during the 2026 STA Annual Meeting, with a commemorative plaque and photo opportunity
